Our Projects

The “Naprzód” Foundation carries out its activities through the implementation of a wide range of projects of varying character — from research-based, through educational and popularising initiatives, to projects with an activating and community-oriented focus.

As part of our research projects, we have addressed issues such as electoral abstention among the left-wing electorate, industrial relations, militarism, and refugee-related topics. Our educational projects have focused primarily on historical issues. In this area, we have concentrated on recalling the consequences of far-right governments and on addressing events of particular importance to the left.

Through co-creating the Social Forum for the Exchange of Ideas and the “Active Naprzód” Fund for Cooperation and Solidarity, we have sought to bring together diverse left-wing communities and to support valuable initiatives undertaken by formal and informal groups as well as by individuals.

In November 2023, in Warsaw, we had the honour of co-organising the 5th International Conference on Marxist Feminisms. The three-day conference was attended by over 350 participants from various regions of the world, and the keynote address was delivered by Gayatri Chakravorty Spivak.
